5/28/09 Restaurant Credit Explanation:
The cards were issued to every property owner Oct 1st, 2008 with a credit balance of $175.00 loaded on each. They are valid thru Sept 30th 2009.
New cards will be issued Oct 1st, 2009 and the expired ones will be inactivated at that time.
We do not do any monthly accounting or send statements. If you need to know the balance, the waitstaff should be able to assist you.
Kahler Glen 09/10 Annual Kahler Glen Community Association Meeting Call to Order May 16th, 10:09 AM MSP May 2008 Minutes MSP That the Association retain Doty Foster to conduct a financial review of the books in lieu of an audit and to prepare the tax return. MSP Board Candidates Dave Reynolds, Steve Johannesen, John Summers, Kim Ronbeck MSP 2009/2010 Budget Meeting Adjourned 12:50 PM. Minutes will be emailed and posted on the website.
Next Board Meeting: June 6th at 10 AM in the Kahler Glen Conference/Event Center. (Board meetings thereafter are scheduled on the 2nd Saturday of the month.)
Important Reminders Septic: Use garbage disposal as little as possible and avoid all eggshells and coffee grounds. Garbage: We are now on Community Garbage. Flatten all boxes and try to recycle (Leavenworth or main home). Dues: 09-10 Dues begin in May. We pay monthly dues in advance so include May in your first dues payment.

Home Winterization Checklist--October 08 1> Check and turn on the heat tape for your gutters and downspouts. 2> Clean the gutters so that water flows easily and the downspouts dont clog. 3> Cover the crawlspace vents as to minimize heat loss from under your home or condo. 4> Have your furnace and or heat pump serviced. Yes, even change the filters and have spares on hand! 5> Replace the hoses to your clothes washer and/or dishwasher if they are over five years old. 6> Check the weather stripping around doors and windows. Replace/repair as necessary. 7> Check the caulking around windows and siding. Caulking does shrink. Repair as needed. 8> Make sure the pipes under the crawl spaces are wrapped. 9> Some of the homes have had the sewer vent caps come off If they have, please replace. 10> If you have hose bibs, cover them with protective covers to prevent freezing. 11> Have the propane tank filled. 12> Have gas fireplaces serviced and cleaned. They do get dusty. 13> Cover your ornamental plants so as to protect from the weight of snow. 14> Have your snow thrower serviced oil, spark plugs, etc. 15> Have a good flashlight and spare batteries on hand prepare for power outages yes they even happen at Kahler Glen. 16> Monitor the snow on your roof. Given heavy snow then rain, you may need to have it shoveled. 17> Winterize your lawn equipment. 18> Winterize your patio equipment if you have a cast iron grill for your BBQ,, get it out of the weather so as to minimize rust. 19> Winterize your golf cart if you have one. 20> Wax up those skis and get ready for a little winter fun!

Kahler Glen On-site Manager: The KGAC Board of Directors has designated Kahler Glen Resort to act as site manager. The management duties include site inspections to identify potential areas of concern, covenant or bylaw violations and identifying areas that need attention. In addition, the resort is the primary contact for problems, assistance, or questions. If you need assistance, please call the Kahler Glen office during business hours at 509-763-2121. After hours, call the same number and select "after hour emergencies and maintenance" from the menu. You will be given the phone number of the individual on duty.
